Event Description
LOCATION: The race starts on the west side of Sunriver Lodge.
TIME: Pre Race warm up 7:45, the race begins promptly at 8am.
THE COURSES: 4.75 mile run: The course winds clockwise around a flat, asphalt bike path loop of Sunriver property with scenic views of the Deschutes River, the Sunriver Stables, the Sunriver Airport, and Paulina Peak. 3 mile run or walk: The course heads west from the Lodge to the airport and around to the 1.5 mile mark and back. Note: Elevation in Sunriver is 4200 feet.
REGISTRATION: Online registration only. Entry fee is $25/pre-registered runner. Shirts are no longer included after June 26th at noon. Shirts will not be included in fee after June 26th. We will have a few shirts on hand to purchase day of or you can pay an extra fee to order one to be sent to you at a later date. 2014- Pre-registration is required for all participants. We will have no day of registration available.
PRIZES: Ribbons will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male & female finishers in each group for 3 and 5 mile runs only. Walkers’ times are not recorded.
AGE GROUPS: 12 & under 13-19 years 20-29 years 30-39 years 40-49 years 50-59 years 60-69 years 70-79 years 80 & better.
